My husband's Uncle Jim was a great man. Whenever I think of him, I picture him with a smile on his face...he always seemed happy. Every time I saw him he always said something that made me laugh. He just had a magnetic personality that people wanted to be around. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. See you again someday Jim. Stefanie Stowe

My uncle Jim was aways the tough guy. I can remember as a little girl how he would have me sit on his feet while he did sit ups! I have alot of fond memories of him that I will keep with me all my life. Being from a small family, we had our ups and downs as any family would but we could always count on each other when times were hard. I dont remember exactly when he met Shar, I just know that it seems like she has always been a part of my life and of our family, and my thougts and prayers are with you aunt Shar. We will all miss you uncle Jim, I know you are at peace now and you don't have to be the tough guy..anymore your neice, Jennifer

I will miss my brother deeply he was a good person at heart and he really liked people he has had his mpntains to climb as we all do in different ways but God knew his heart and I believe he is with Him and there will be no more suffering and sadness and he will be learning a peace that passes all understanding I believe that God is a merciful God and He understood Jim's struggles and now there will be no more struggleing I ask the Lord to take a special Love for my little brother and hold him in the palm of His hands and hold him close to His heart. Hello Shar, We were so sorry to hear about Jims passing. We saw it in the South Bend paper. That was a shock. I hope you aew doing O.K. We tried to call your mother but haven't heard back from her she might be up here with you. Tell her we will give her a call next week when she is back home. We extend our sincere sympathy to Jack and Family for their recent loss of Jim. Jim worked with our son Nicholas during his high school years for body strengthening. Jim asked Nick to be in a TV commercial which was special to Nick that Jim would ask him. They enjoyed that special bond of weight lifting. Our prayers are with you all. NHS classmates, co-worker and neighbor.

I am very shocked and deeply saddened by Jim's passing. Jim and I were close years ago. Our fathers were cousins which made us 2nd or 3rd cousins but we always considered each other a cousin. Since my moving from Niles 28 years ago I had fallen out of touch with Jim and many of our friends. I am very saddend with this news. I can't say enough. Goodbye old friend. Bud

Shar, I am so very sorry to learn about Jim's death and send you my sincerest sympathy on your loss. Tomorrow I am leaving with our extended family for the Smoky Mountain trip to celebrate our 50th anniv.; therefore, I will not be able to be there on Monday. To the family of Jim Perham, It was with great sadness that we read of Jim's passing. He was certainly an interesting person. Jon worked for Jim for several years and they shared many conversations and ideas. Jim played a large part in Jon's life during that time, and, I am sure, left his mark. It will be very unpleasant news indeed when he returns from his Marine drill in Okinawa.
