I've only known Jean a few months but she had a great impact on my life. I was Her caregiver and yet she was Mine. No matter how dire her circumstances were she never failed to ask and care about how I was. I miss her intelligence and quick wit. We laughed and cried together, each respecting the other. It has been an honor to support her during her last months. I rejoice that she has no more pain or burdens and that she is with those she loved most. Are you my favorite Stooge? "Coitenly" Love ya, Sharon

I would like to extend my condolences to Jean's family and friends and to say that I am so sorry for their great loss. I was introduced to Jean about 23 years ago and she and I maintained our relationship over the telephone. She was a most beautiful, gracious and generous person. She always gave of herself and expected nothing in return. Jean was without a doubt, the best friend you could ask for. She and I would talk endlessly and fearlessly about everything, secure in the knowledge that neither of us would ever pass judgment on each other. She listened to my daily experiences, was extremely supportive, and always made me feel good about myself. Jean was a rare person and I am extremely grateful to have had her in my life. My biggest regret is that we never got the chance to meet in person. Nevertheless, I am very grateful to be "Her Kid in California." I will toast a glass of champagne in remembrance of her and her great spirit.

Jean was a wonderful neighbor and friend to my sister Doris, to Ernie and to Sandie Yates. I was privileged to have known her and Pete through them. May God bless and comfort her family and friends during this time of sorrow. Carrol Maslowski, Kansas City, Mo.
