Obituary of Hilda Florence

Hilda Florence, 87, of Oak Street, Niles, passed away on Sunday morning, March 22, 2009 at Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles.
She was born in Wartle, Scotland on August 5, 1921 to the late Andrew and Mary Jane (Rothnie) Florence.
Hilda was retired after fifteen years at JC Penney. Her hobbies included Knitting, reading and gardening. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Niles.
She is survived by two sisters Mabel Grant of Glasgow, Scotland and Violet Skinner of Inverurie, Scotland and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church Chapel with Pastor Jan Van Lear officiating. An interment will follow in the church columbarium.
