Mother Palmer was an inspiration to all of us at BBC. I used to take her to Bible Study on Wednesday evenings and we had time to talk about many subjects. She is the one who encouraged me to emcee one of the choir's anniversaries one year. "Girrrl, God hasn't given you the spirit of fear".
I can hear her voice right now saying "Ain't that right?" She had a way of chastising you without being harsh. There was never a time I spoke to her after she moved to California that she didn't ask about BBC. She loved us as much as we loved her.
