Obituary of David Johnson

David died Saturday, Nov.7, 2009. He was born January 1, 1956 to Reda and Lee Johnson. He was a devoted husband for 32 years to Debbie (Akers) Johnson, a proud father to his daughter, Jamie Lee, 29, and his son, Jake, 23, and loving brother to Toni Severns and Dorothy Johnson.
Captain Dave of Quick Release Charters, was a longtime member of Michiana Steelheaders, and a proud employee at Town Air Freight. We know he has charted a course to heaven to begin spending eternity fishing leisurely with his beloved father, Lee Johnson and his first mate, Jeff Hankins.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations in Dave's memory be forwarded to Hospice at Home, Inc 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, Michigan 49085.
In accordance with Dave's wishes, a private family service will be held.
