Loma Piluso posted a condolence

Where do I begin...I remember the first time I saw Gail, Mom was taking my brother and I to school and she stopped to pick up Linda, Gail was on the front porch and mom always laughed about Gail inviting her in later for a "cup of tea"! I remember her catching Linda and I smoking her cigarettes (Viceroy) and marched us down the street to my mother and together they made us smoke a whole pack!! Ugh...never again for me! I remember when Gail and Linda mover to Paradise, I was so excited! I remember my mother introducing her to Garland and when they all went to Reno, my mother and dad, Gail and Garland when they got married. I remember walking home (about 5-6 miles) from the public swimming pool with Linda, in the dark, in bathing suits and flip flops, scary cars stopping to ask if we needed a ride...Mom and Gail were in a bar somewhere in town and I'm pretty sure they forgot we needed a ride! That was the night when mom sat us down and told us the "facts of life"! I remember when my mother died...Gail was there for me. I don't know how I would have made it without her encouraging words even though I knew her heart was breaking too. And when I was diagnosed with breast cancer I turned to Gail...she became my mother too. She was like a Grandma to my children. When Keri was born, Gail was so excited, she was so happy to be feeding her in the kitchen in her little bouncer. I am sure Craig and Keri held a special place in her heart, and we are all teary and feeling her loss.
And now, can you imagine the celebration that is going on in heaven? All of them reunited, no aches, no pains, young again! Rest assured that we will see them all again. Bodies wear out, spirits never do...isn't that a wonderful thing.
My sincere condolences to all of you,
Loma, Jim, Craig and Keri Piluso
(I'll remember always)
