I remember he made popcorn for everyone at work, every week. He was a giving man. He took time to show me things about how to make paper. Rest in peace, Dee.

Love He was A man with A big heart ❤️ He never a stranger. He would walk up and start talking like he knew we would say you know who that is . He would grin and say no he didn’t know stranger.I had started a quick group of boys without fathers I entered him into that program and he was asked to Mr. Horine and then He dropped him So Aaron was past summer in the fall into the hands of Donald all right they want kids more than anything they took him into their lifeAnd treated him like he was there own Not only have they taken Aaron and and then they took me the mother into thm family I love these people so much I missed you over and was like my dad I think you Lord for giving me Mr. around the had a heart to serve you and a whole lot of faith. He was always with his wife When their anniversary was coming he would tell Diana I’m going on a trip but he would never Tell her where they were going he always would surprise her very unique couple they came to know the Lord together and grow together in love more and more. All I can say is thank you Deana for sharing in mine and Aaron’s life So very very sorry for your loss of your best friend I will be praying for you God bless love Becky

Aunt Deanna, I won’t be able to travel tomorrow for Uncle Donald’s funeral but I wanted you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. I really wish we could be there with family and friends.
Never got to be around you both after Mom and Dad’s split but I really enjoyed our time together in Florida at Dad’s funeral. You both were always sweet to us in our tender years. I pray God gives you comfort in the days, weeks and months ahead.
Love,
Dennis and Leigh Ann

My most favorite memory was just last year when Don got out of the hospital before Deanna. He stopped by the church and wanted to talk. He told me he was waiting for his bride to recover to come home and then everything would be fine. What a wonderful example of a loving husband. We miss you already Don, and I know your bride is missing you as well. ❤️ -Jacki

Thank you so much for supporting my three kids this year in Granger basketball. Seeing my varsity son hug both of you was one of the sweetest traditions I’ve seen in sports. Mrs. Elrod, I’m praying for you. We are so sorry for your tremendous loss. We are thankful for all the years God gave you together. You used them to be a blessing to all your Granger athlete children.
