With sadness I read the obituary of Jerry Rossow in the South Bend, IN Tribune. My connection with the family was with Edna in the South Bend Symphony. We had many activities in common including we were both starting teaching careers. Edna was playing string bass, I in the violin section of the Symphony. While I have not been involved with the family more recently, Jerry has been totally respected as a leader in Civilian activities. Jerry is a true friend taken away from us. May he rest in peace, and may we all be stronger for having known Jerry.

Our deepest sympathy to Kathy, Elizabeth, Peter, Jamie, Sarah, Ginny and all the extended family. Jerry was always such a kind, calm, gentle, welcoming presence to us and to everyone!
