Growing up in Dowagiac, my brother and I had the privilege to live across the street from Kenny. We played basketball with him and baseball alot with him in the open field next to his house. He was a few years older than us, which made him just a little bit better than my brother and I. Playing basketball, he ALWAYS seemed to never miss a 3 pointer! Kenny kinda took my brother and I under his wing at a very early age. He taught us how to be more competitive. I am grateful that he created a wonderful life for himself and his legacy will be carried on by his children and the ones who loved him so much!

You were a great coach and mentor to me and many other young men. You were a wonderful person to hang out with on Sundays during pool. It is hard for me to see you go because you were such a valuable person through most of my young life. I will greatly miss you and every laugh we had together.
