I remember a young 14 year old boy who volunteered at the nursing home who was so interested in medicine. I would see him over the years when he was on calls and was impressed that he had made his dream come true. He was a kind man. I was so sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts are with his family at this time

Our condolences to the Lindsey family. There were times we would invite more guest at our Christmas dinners. One year our daughter invited Kyle, from then on his infectious personality drew the rest of us into his life. God had a calling on his life to serve in his community as a paramedic/firefighter, he had gone far and beyond his duty saving many lives. Our grieving hearts will be healed through time, missing him will never be diminished. We have been blessed by knowing him, we gained many memories including fun times and laughter that will never be forgotten.

Kyle! I am so devastated..Indeed you were one in a million! I will forever cherish the image of you up on a gurney, giving CPR to a dying child while your team mate rolled you into the BBC ER. SO many times I could tell you were tired, or a bit down and I made special effort to greet you in ER and check to see how you were doing..If hungry, I would have a snack, water or sandwich, if sad, I always would listen and give you a hug & encouragement...So many loved you for the amazing human being you had become, and your dedication to saving lives and moving toward your goals...You so much reminded me of our son, Robby...I wish you could have met him..You are in God's loving arms now, and will have eternal peace and joy! We all will grieve, but all that you taught us by your great example will be carried onto patients for many, many years to come! You made a difference in patient care and in the lives of all you knew.....Wish I could have taken you fishing...at least once..You would have liked that......Be at peace...

You taught me so much in such a little time about what it meant to care for people as a medical provider not just to treat them. I remember talking about your love of being a funeral director, how you said you just want to care for and love people in their biggest time of grief and need. I saw how much you cared and asked you if I somehow died would you do my funeral for my family, hard to swallow that here someone is planning yours. Most precious friend, work spouse. You are as a son to me. You always said I knew the right words to say....I have no words now. What words can express the great loss of losing you? God used you to save people's lives and for yours to be lost is a tragedy which reaches far beyond your limited 32 years. There will be other paramedics, firefighters, funeral directors but no one will ever have the spark and fire and passion to care for others like my Kyle Lindsey. You will remain in my heart and thoughts forever.
Thank you to Kyle's parents and step father for helping him and encouraging him to be the amazing man that he was. Prayers for peace and solace for all of Kyle's family and friends.
