Obituary of Samuel Carlyn Sage

Samuel Carlyn Sage, 51, of Niles passed away at his home, on Thursday, October 11, 2018

He was born on July 5, 1967, to Joseph D. and Shelby J. (Baushke) Sage, in Watervliet, Michigan

Sam graduated from Coloma High school in 1985,  he received his Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Tech. Sam has worked for several years at Benteler Automotive in Goshen, Indiana.  Sam had a passion for farming, Nascar racing and four wheeling.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Shelby Sage;

Sam is survived by his father, Joseph D. Sage of Benton Harbor; brothers, Joseph Sage of Benton Harbor and Donald Sage of Watervliet; sister, Laurie Sage of Coloma; he will be greatly missed by everyone.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at 1 pm. at Twelve Corners Church, 3902 Hicks Ave in Benton Harbor with Pastor Roy Clark officiating.

Memorial donations may be made in Sam’s name to the donor’s choice.
