I met Bettye at the Central County Senior Center. She was such a beautiful person inside and out. I heard her playing the piano, and after talking for awhile, invited her over to play my organ. We both enjoyed the experience. I have never quite learned to play. My sincere condolences are with you. I'm sure you have many fond memories. Prayers for God to help you through the grieving. Aunt Bettye was there the day I was born. She was my mom's youngest sibling and still a teenager. She told me a story of coming to our house and my mom did not have a washing machine. She made uncle Danny remove the back seat of their vehicle and bring my mom her old washing machine -from Michigan to Tennessee-because she had gotten a new one. I remember using the washing machine, but did not remember the circumstances of how we got it. Another gentle person is gone and this world is a little less bright without her.
