Gene Roosa posted to? Leroy Trueblue Medlin I was Leroy's sargent in the army . Although it was only a few years, we forged a friendship that has stood the test of time. It's kinda that way with army folks ..there are many heart felt stories that will be shared by those of us who still gather and share such things ... Leroy was central to our ban of friends while we served together . Vickie, you are also in our prayers ... you always were....this Labor Day many of his former buddies are gathering here at Lawton -Ft.Sill, Oklahoma, where we all met ..there he will be remembered again ....we will raise our glasses in his honor ... I asked the Lord to receive his wonderful spirit .... but I tell all of you to celebrate his life ... I know we will ... and the old stories from the glory days will live forever....Goodbye my old friend....
