Obituary of Frances J. Noud

Frances J. Noud July 25, 1940 September 9, 2014 Frances J. (Brendum) Noud, 74, of Battle Creek, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, following a brief illness. She was born on July 25, 1940 in Battle Creek to the late Verdell and Lilah (Iverson) Brendum. Frances spent most of her working career at Barker Manufacturing, retiring after 25 years of service. She was a devoted Christian who truly loved the Lord with her whole heart. She loved reading God's word and was committed to sharing her faith with others. Her generous spirit and passion for helping others was a testament to her faith. Frances was a member of The Potter's House Church in Battle Creek. Frances had four great loves; God, her family, animals and shopping. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Shirley Slayton. Frances is survived by her three daughters, Kathy (Daniel) Hinton of Battle Creek, Penni Eigster of San Francisco and Robin (Bill) Smith of Houston Texas; and son Brian Noud of Battle Creek; five grandchildren; two sisters, Bobbie Boblet and Edith Eifler both of Battle Creek and a brother Leroy "Butch" Brendum of Battle Creek. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 12, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at The Potters House Church at 226 Capital Ave. N.E. in Battle Creek. Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m. The family will gather privately at Memorial Park for an interment. Memorial contributions in Frances' memory may be directed in C/O Brown Funeral Home, 521 E.
