Went to see Glass Castle this week. Talked about you with my friend about how much you loved the book. You were so excited about it, you shared with everyone. Even going to Barnes and Noble to order her second book. I was thinking how excited you would be to know that book was made into a movie. I can envision you so excited to go to the movie, walking fast with those short little legs with a bucket of buttered popcorn down the hallway to the theater. I smile just thinking about it. Really missing you today mom. Everywhere I went today, I thought of you. Extra hard day for some reason. Cried in a store, cried while driving ....I miss you so much! Just wish we could go shopping, get something to eat and just laugh. Then top off the day with a big hug and an "I love you mom".

Merry Christmas Mom! We all missed you last night....you always made Christmas Eve fspecial with all your goofy outfits, tons of food and your child like excitement in giving and receiving gifts. Aunt Bitsy, to say that I am going to miss you so very much is an understatement. Your enthusiastic excitement for the minute things in life was so incredibly endearing. Your example of giving to everyone you came into contact with is an example for all of us to follow. I'm not sure yet how we will survive the holidays, especially Christmas, without you but I know you will be smiling down upon us. So many memories; for so many years while growing up. Aunt Bitsy and my mother (Shirley) were not just sisters, they were so very close and dear to each other for as long as I can remember, before tragedy struck, changing everything. Aunt Bitsy was always there for my mom and our family; at times I entrusted things to her when I was afraid to share with anyone else. I spent a lot of time at her house with her & my cousins while growing up. She was always there, so many fun times. Things happen, people grow & change.
