Wow--where to start! My mom was one of the most giving people I have ever known. She gave annually to the Food Drive sponsored by the Postal Service--not just one or two items, but one or two bags or boxes full of groceries for those less fortunate. She instilled in her children discipline--not to be mean to us, but to keep us from getting into trouble and to teach us how to take care of ourselves. There isn't anything she would not do for us or our friends, and would do anything and everything to protect us from harm. But mostly, she taught us love and the value of family. Holidays are always a big deal at our house, and my mom took great pride in making sure the holiday meal and treats were perfectly prepared. Baking was her specialty, and that was one of the loves I share with her. She will be greatly missed, and I will always be proud to say that I am her daughter. I love you very much mom--till we meet again~Dawn
