Obituary of Bruce M. Anderson

Bruce Michael Anderson, 63, of Niles, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Lakeland Hospital in Niles.
Bruce was born on February 13, 1952 to Maxwell and Jeanette (Kern) Anderson in Detroit, Michigan. After graduating from high school Bruce went on to attend college but eventually earned himself a position at AEP where he faithfully worked for more than 25 years.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father Maxwell Anderson and is survived by his mother, Geraldine "Jeannette" Anderson; sons, Jeff (Lisa Tisdale) Anderson of Niles and James (Kristin) Anderson of Niles; fiancée, Pam Lamberton; seven grandchildren; and sister, Sharon (Dave) Nieb of Atlanta, Georgia.
Bruce's family will be holding a memorial service on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Hope Community Church in Niles at 1:30 p.m. Bruce will be interred at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan, located at 15501 Dickman Road, Augusta, MI 49012, on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Friends and family are encouraged to attend the burial and military honors that will be presented in honor of Bruce's service in the Navy.
