Lazarus Bain, 65, of Stevensville, passed away at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph on Thursday, December 3, 2015.
Lazarus was born on June 25, 1950 in Acklins Island, Bahamas. He graduated high school and went on to earn his Master's Degree in Fine Arts. He retired as an Art Teacher from Benton Harbor Public Schools. On July 21, 2011 Lazarus wed Hillary Blakeslee. Together the two have one son.
Lazarus has been cremated and his family will be remembering him privately.
