Obituary of Kayla Marie Babick

Please share a memory of Kayla to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kayla M. Babick, 24, of Battle Creek, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 14, 2016. She was born on March 25, 1991 in Battle Creek to Andrew F. and Traci L. (Boblet) Babick. Kayla was currently employed at Merry Maids in Battle Creek and she attended The Potter's House Church. Kayla, born a "daddy's girl", had a passion for animals from a very young age. She will be remembered by her family and friends as selfless, big-hearted and loyal. Her love for her children was immeasurable; Kayla's children were her pride and joy, and her world revolved around them. Her life was her family, and she treasured the time spent at family holidays and BBQ's. Kayla was inclusive and had a beautiful smile that lit up a room when she entered. She was always positive, seeing the bright side of every situation. Her laughter was contagious and food seemed to be a hobby she enjoyed as well. Kayla was gone too soon, but her memory and impact will last forever. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Robert Boblet. Kayla is survived by her parents Andrew and Traci Babick, two children, Kaylynn and Chayce Armstrong, Jayden Armstrong ( a boy she has loved as her own), a brother, Andrew Babick (Ginesa Edwards), two sisters, Amanda (Steven) Hueckel and Taryn Babick (Dean Dolbee), her grandparents Barbara Boblet and Andrew & Christine Babick. She will also be remembered as Aunt Lala by her very special 8 nieces and nephews, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and countless lives and hearts she has touched. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at The Potter's House Church, 226 Capital Ave. NE in Battle Creek with a time of visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m. A private interment will be held at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be directed online to https://www.gofundme.com/9hxvka78 or envelopes will be provided at the service.
