Charlotte was active in our Benton Harbor Community. In her position in the League of Women Voters, I and others witnessed her quiet, but effective participation in moderating political debates. Charlotte participated, with vigor, in registering the highest number of voters in Benton Harbor with V.I.A. (Voters Involved in America), and was involved in other various activities that contributed to the forward progress of our
communities. You will be missed, RIP Charlotte Omohumdro.

Such sad news about Charlotte - she was a quiet force behind so many good things here in Evanston - I have fond memories of sitting in her living room sticking labels on various mailings for KEB, enjoying a cup of tea and homemade cookies. We were very sad when she and Art moved to Michigan, much sadder now that she won't be coming back. Our condolences and love to Art and the rest of her family. Nancy & Jeff Burhop

Dear Art and Family...so sorry about your loss. If memory serves Charlotte's was the first NT name I knew as a young hire coming from California. I believe she was one of the faculty wives sending greetings and suggested places to live. I know you will miss her and my hope is that warm memories and love will fill the space her death leaves. So sorry to hear about Charlotte. My condolences to Art and to the family. Charlotte was a wonderful neighbor. She introduced this urbanite to the joys of gardening , showed me around the county, went with me to concerts and art galleries, and made me feel welcome in my new home. Although she's been away for awhile, I still miss her. And Art as well.
