As I met this lady it gave me the chance to reflect on somethings I never brought out I was encouraged by her enthusiasm and her willing to be t church for the whole day. she may have been sick but she did all she could to get to church that day. Telling her y story-because I was new to coming for the visit really made her happy. This is what I remember about this wonderful lady

I met Mrs Duckworth when i came to Michigan in1997 through All Nations Church and thru jail ministry with my brother and Mr Duckworth. She has been to our house a number of times including last thanksgiving. i made sure I served a fully vegan dinner. She loved it and took some home with her. Ray and I saw her at Christmas to sing carols while Ray played his accordian. We will miss her.

Irizona was quite a Lady! And she was a Lady! She always wore a skirt or dress, no slacks. She was always reading her Bible (if weather permitted) on her front porch and always witnessed about the Lord. Otherwise she read her Bible inside. She always felt Blessed. She worked in her flowers a lot and they always looked pretty.
My husband and I have lived next door to her for 34 years. One time I said ir-i-zona and she said it's I-rizona. I visited with her often. She would tell me if I looked like I was gaining weight!
My sympathy to the entire Duckworth family. Irizona got her wish to live in her own home till her dying day. I loved her and will definitely miss her! Love to her family, as I know many of you.
