Terry and Family -- My name is Jean Radewald, I was good friends with Theresa back in elementary, junior high and high school. I wanted to share one of my memories of your family around 1967. For some reason we were in Benton Harbor, maybe we went to a movie in the area or shopping, we went to McDonalds near the intersection of M139 and Napier, at that time Niles did not have a McDonalds, that McDonalds no longer is in that location. I think fondly of my first McDonalds experience and remember your family often. I spend lots of time in the St. Joe/Benton Harbor area and I want you to know I think of you often and the fun we had. Hope and pray Jeanne did not suffer greatly and I know Theresa is happy to spend time with her Mom again.

Was so sorry to hear of this. Jeanne used to work for my father, and I spent several years seeing her on a daily basis. She was the most wonderful person, and someone I was proud to call a friend. My deepest condolences to Rick and her extended family. A prayer is up for her promised Grace.

My Great Aunt Jeanne was a Class Act!
One of the sweetest women to ever draw breath, and she always carried herself with grace, dignity, and pride regardless of situation or circumstance. She was the coolest Aunt imaginable, and always looked like a million bucks every time she left the house. In addition to being an amazing cook, she could tell a good story, enjoy a good joke, and laughed a lot when we'd spend time together. One of the things I've enjoyed most these past few years, was being able to get closer to Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Terry, and spend a lot of quality time with them both.
Jeanne was also one of the kindest souls I've ever known, full of compliments and good cheer. She'd send birthday cards long after most family members had forgotten I had a birthday, and there was always a little cash inside, too. It always made me smile to think that she'd still take the time to send a real card, even in this digital age we find ourselves in.
Of course everybody knew Aunt Jean loved her Tigers, but she enjoyed a lot of other sports as well. Much to my chagrin, Coach Pete Carroll was a favorite of hers. She'd also indulge my interest in racing when I'd stay at the house, and I found a lot of joy and humor in trying to explain how these cars and formats all worked together. It was a treat watching anything on TV with her, and her commentary was priceless!!
Aunt Jeanne will be missed, but she'll never be forgotten. I'll carry her laughs, compliments, comments, and hugs with me for the rest of my life. I don't feel bad for her, she had 91 good years and is in a better place. I feel bad for the rest of us, that will miss so many wonderful things about this beautiful woman.
My thoughts and prayers are with Uncle Terry, Rick, Jane, and the girls.....along with the rest of the family as well. God Bless you all.
Godspeed, Aunt Jeanne.

I could not have asked for a better next door neighbor. I would usually see Jeanne sitting outside on a nice sunny day. She was an awesome cook. I will never forget some of the wonderful goodies she send over during the holidays. She will be missed.
