Obituary of Judy K. Marquart

Judy K. Marquart, 75, of Sister Lakes, passed away at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph Michigan on December 9, 2017, with her loving family by her side Judy was born on August 16, 1942, to the late Howard O. & Loretta (Alleman) Tait. She graduated with the class of 1960 from Benton Harbor high school. On July 22, 1961, she wed the love of her life William R. Marquart in Benton Harbor. Judy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved her flower garden, fishing, entertaining, shopping or just taking a few minutes to scratch her lottery tickets. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lois Patzer and Beverly Dettman; her in-laws, Raymond and Katherine Marquart, along with several aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins. Judy is survived by her husband, Bill Marquart; sons, Greg (Cathy) Marquart and Garrett Marquart; mother of her grandchildren, Leann Marquart; grandchildren, Zach (Molly) Marquart and Alexandria Marquart; and a brother in law, Larry (Sheila) Marquart. The family will be having a private burial at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in Judy's memory to the Marie Yeager Cancer Center.
