Loved getting to see Aunt Chrissie so often back when we lived in Niles. Her creativity, her love of cats, her love of retro, her deep love of her family, all left an imprint on me. When I saw her after a long absence, the thing that came back was how absolutely melodic her voice was—I had forgotten the distinct, beautiful sound of it. Much love to you, Matt and Tara and family.

My deepest sympathy to all of Chris' family. I knew her for many years. First, through ceramic classes and on through her years at the Antique Mall. Her smile and friendliness were always present. I shall miss her. May all your wonderful memories bring you peace.

I'm so shocked to learn of Chris's death. She and I were best school friends, from fourth grade at Sumnerville School through high school. I learned so much from her!

Our prayers are with all of Chris's family. She will be greatly missed by everyone. She always had a smile for everyone who came into contact with her even when she wasn't feeling well. She loved spending time with her grandsons. And showed us pictures all the time. I loved watching her draw. She was very artistic. But most if all she was the best co-worker anyone could have. We all loved her. Rest in peace my friend.

There are so many memories, even though I moved away 43 years ago! She had such a kind heart and her fun-loving nature was contagious. I am sure she never knew how many people were effected in a positive way just by coming in contact with her! What a loss for us here on earth but a beautiful addition to heaven!

A memory that epitomizes Chris's kindness and tender heart is almost 25 years ago when Jodie and I ran in to her at K-Mart when our daughter, Liz, was only about two. She witnessed Liz having a minor fit over wanting a stuffed Barney- which we largely ignored. She caught up with us about 20 minutes later as we exited the store- she had bought Liz the Barney.

What a loss: a woman full of warmth and had dancing eyes when she spoke. I have only the fondest of memories of Aunt Chris. With ten years between us, she was the big sister I never had. When we were kids, she would prepare small boxes of treasure (broken jewelry) and take us on excursions into the woods to bury it. She explained that the logger roads were paths the Indians had taken, and of course I believed it, because Chris said it. Chris defined for me what a teenager was. I felt pretty in the know when she taught me how to dance the twist---the right way, not vulgarly like on American Bandstand. When she got the job at the paper, she saved for us the 8 x 10 glossies ABC sent with the press releases about their new television shows. Katrina mentioned unconditional love, and I remember that too! As I look around, I see the Christmas cat garland and the ceramic Siamese cat on a shelf, I had so much more to thank you for Chris.

Loving, caring, and fun; Chris will ever be remembered. Artistic, creative, and humble, a big sister to my children; it was always fun to be with Chris. The wonderful times we all shared as a family will never be forgotten. Love you Chris.

Aunt CHRIS is who I always wanted to be like - she had a heart of gold & believed in me when no one else did. I do a remember a time when I disappointed her when she was trying to help me and I still that pain of letting her down. She came the nearest to giving unconditional love as anyone I've ever known.
