Obituary of John Welch

John William Welch, 49, of Niles, passed away at his home in Niles on Saturday, March 4, 2017. John was born on June 10, 1967, to Arnold and Ethel in Rochester, Michigan. After graduating from high school John went on to receive his nurse aide certification. He was survived by his parents, Arnold (Ruth) Welch of Gladwin, Michigan and Ethel Ray of Sterling Heights, Michigan; son, Charlie Morrison of Niles; siblings, Rodger Welch of Sterling Heights, Pamela (Mike) Welch of Oxford, Michigan, A.J. Welch of Westland, Michigan, Allen (Gloria) Welch of Warren, Michigan, and Tammy (Michael) Warzocha of Warren, Michigan; and nieces and nephews Chris & Melissa Valken, Melissa Heron, Mark & Jessica Wills, Kayla Welch, and Victoria & Joseph Warzocha and many extended family members and close friends. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the Moose Lodge located at 3967 S. Livernois Road, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48307 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in John's memory to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan located at 641 S. Crystal Ave., Benton Harbor, MI 49022.
