John was such a great guy, with a constant smile on his face. He brought joy and laughter to everyone he came in contact with. He was so generous and hard working, and loved and cared for Charlie with all his heart.
John was a member of our church in Douglas, Mi for several years. The first time I met him we were together washing dishes for our church's annual chili supper. I don't know if I ever laughed harder in my life that night doing dishes with John. He was such a good, honest and decent man, and was missed by all our congregation when he moved away.
My deepest sympathy to his family and so many friends - he will be missed.

I worked with John in Allegan. He was a hard and dedicated worker. He was a wonderful friend and would do anything for you. He was a very honest and giving person. He will be so missed. He is in heaven with his grandma and they are rejoicing. John, you were loved by so many. Till we meet each other in the heavens. RIP my dear and beloved friend.

I worked with John at Woodland Terrace in Niles - John was a hard worker, dependable, and made everyone including his patients feel like family. John talked often of his family especially his son Charlie. Charlie know that your dad loved you greatly. John you will be missed but not forgotten especially your contagious laugh. Prayers for your family to get through this difficult time.
