Joycelyn B. Irwin, 84, of Niles, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on Saturday September 1, 2007, following an illness. She was born on January 28, 1923 in Niles to the late Wilson and Magdalena (Moyer) Fisher. On February 28, 1942 she married the love of her life Max R. Irwin at a ceremony in Niles. A homemaker most of her life, Joycelyn spent over 11 years at Buchanan Steel, National Standard Division, before her retirement. Joycelyn enjoyed crafts, crocheting and cross-stitch and had a passion for nature, especially feeding and watching hummingbirds. Her greatest love was her family and spending time with them. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Arthur Fisher and a sister Jean Sallack. Joycelyn is survived by her husband Max R. Irwin of Niles, children Judith Robards of Hastings, Michigan, Randy (Janet) Irwin of Flagler Beach, Florida, Deborah (Richard) Jimines, of Warren, Michigan, Robert (Joy) Irwin of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Max (Marti) Irwin of Ballground, Georiga and Marilyn (Ronnie) Irwin of Gun Lake, Michigan, two step sons Charles Irwin and David (Marsha) Irwin of Niles, eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and a brother Duane Fisher of Buchanan.
