Obituary of Ruth Selvidge

Mary Ruth Selvidge, 77, of Coloma, passed away on Tuesday morning, with her family beside her, at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.
She was born on August 24, 1930 in Judsonia, Arkansas to the late Carl and Gladys (Henderson) Moore.
On July 26, 1948 she married the love of her life William "Bill" G. Selvidge at a ceremony in South Bend, Indiana.
A homemaker most of her life, Ruth enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, crocheting and "garage-saling". She was a member of Benton Harbor Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Eva Stahl.
Ruth is survived by her husband of nearly sixty years William Selvidge of Coloma, three sons; Michael (Robin) Selvidge of Coloma, Kevin (Carol) Selvidge of Lawrence and Alan (Becky) Selvidge of Watervliet, three daughters; Donna (Ronald) Little of Hazel Green, Alabama, Carol Campbell of Coloma and Sharon Myrick of Tennessee, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, a brother Edward (Pat) Moore of Arkansas, a sister JoAnn (Melvin) Simpson of Arkansas and many brothers and sisters in Christ.
