Obituary of Denver Pease

July 24, 1938 March 23, 2008 Denver L. Pease, 69, of Dowagiac, passed away suddenly on Sunday March 23, 2008 at Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital. He was born on July 24, 1938 in Vicksburg, MS to the late Godfrey and Phenie (Goss) Pease. Denver was a veteran serving both in the US Army and Air Force including during the Vietnam War. On September 18, 1965 he married Mollie Wahlman at a ceremony in Portage, Indiana. She preceded him in death in 2005. Denver was a Journeyman Machinist working for several factories including Kaiser Steel and Gunite in Elkhart. After retirement he enjoyed spending time on his computer and watching movies. He is survived by three sons; Dwayne Pease of Niles, G. Jack (Lisa) Pease of Tennessee and Denver (Tonya) Pease II of Dowagiac, four daughters; Martha (Bill) Davis of Niles, Jennifer (Mike) Ridge of Earlville, Illinois, Diana (Augustino) Malvaso of Dowagiac and Jessica Pease of Dowagiac, 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, siblings Charlotte Will of Buchanan, Burl Pease of Roanoke, IN and Zephene Zabel of Ozakis, MN and Clarence Pease of Kendallville, IN.
