Mary Beth Miltenberger July 3, 1956 April 10, 2008 Mary Beth Miltenberger, 51, of Emerald Drive in Niles passed away at her home with her family close by her side on April 10, 2008. Mary was born on July 3, 1956 to the late Daryl and Margaret (Hackworth) Roberts in Prairie City, Oregon. She was one of 7 children growing up in the Roberts' household. Mary graduated from Brandwine High School and then wed the love of her life, Alvin "Al" Miltenberger at a ceremony in Niles on October 1, 1983. Mary proudly obtained her CNA certification and went on to work at Healthwin Hospital for a number of years. Her entire life Mary was involved in music. She played guitar and earlier in her life she was also the lead singer of a band and did regular performances. Mary was a member of the Michiana Christian Embassy in Niles. She loved her time playing the guitar, singing, playing games with her family, camping and especially fishing with her husband. She is preceded in death by her parents. Mary is survived by her husband of nearly 25 years, Al, Daughters Jennifer (David) Pflug of Niles, Rebecca (Jason) Russ of Niles, Crystal Miltenberger of Westville, Indiana, 3 grandchildren: Brooklyn Pflug, Michael Russ and Joshua Livergood, Brothers Larry Roberts of Kentucky and Bob (Barb) Roberts of South Bend, IN, and Sisters Margaret (Dale) Lewis of Niles, Barb (Rick) Krassow of Niles, Doris Roberts of Niles and Naomi (Dan) Songer of Niles. A time of visitation will be held on Monday, Aril 14, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. at the Mission Hills Memorial Chapel in Niles where Mary's funeral service will also be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Jeff Whittaker will be officiating. Mary will be interred at the Mission Hills Memorial Cemetery in the Garden of Gethsemane. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services and Mission Hills Memorial Chapel, both of Niles.
