Obituary of Evelyn M. Smith

Evelyn Smith, 94, of Dowagiac, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at her residence.
Evelyn Smith was born on August 14, 1919 in Dowagiac to the late William and Clara Graber.
She was united in marriage to Kirby Dean Smith on December 5, 1939 at a ceremony in Dowagiac.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son Alan Smith.
She is survived by three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, sister Lonetta Yoquelet of Chesterton, Indiana, brother William Graber of Houston, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Riverside Cemetery in Dowagiac where she will be laid to rest.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to The First United Methodist Church; 326 N. Lowe Street, Dowagiac, Michigan.
