Gerald A. Davis February 12, 1953 April 20, 2008 Gerald A. Davis, 55, of Calvin Center Road, passed away at his home on Sunday, April 20, 2008. Gerald was born on February 12, 1953 to the late Elwin "Al" and Eleanor "Ella" Davis. He was one of 5 children growing up in the Davis household. Gary was a machinist for several years before he became ill with cancer. He enjoyed the outdoors; especially hunting, fishing and barbecuing. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Penny Williams. Gerald is survived by his wife, who he has been with for nearly 20 years, Dawn, Son Mark Davis of Delton, MI, Step-children Greg (Kate) Cullum, Jr.of Huntington, IN, Jennifer (Robert) Kline of South Bend, IN and Bethany Cullum of South Bend, IN and longtime friend and caretaker Fred Wilcox of Cassopolis, 6 step-grandchildren, Brothers Lee (Judy) Davis of Dowagiac, MI, Tony Davis of Arizona and Phillip "Flip" (Lori) Fitzgerald of Niles, MI and several Nieces and Nephews. In keeping with Gerald's wishes he has been cremated and the family will receive friends at his home on Saturday, April 26, 2008 from 2 to 5 pm. Memorial donations may be made in Gerald's memory to Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
