Adeline S. McCann, 84, of Berrien Center, Michigan passed away at Lakeland Specialty Hospital on Friday evening, May 9, 2008, following a lengthy illness.
She was born on October 4, 1923 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Charles and Helen (Mithor) Downs.
Adeline was a waitress for many years at several of the local restaurants.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Jan Kravcheno and a brother Harrison Downs.
Adeline is survived by a daughter Judith Chrisley of Dublin, Virginia, seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a sister Harriet Speeks of South Bend, Indiana.
In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and no public services will be held.
