Obituary of Hugh Potthoff

Hugh Potthoff September 23, 1942 June 1, 2008 Hugh Potthoff, 65, of Howard Street in Niles, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 1, 2008 with his family by his side. Hugh was born on September 23, 1942 to the late Robert Sr. and Elizabeth (Underhill) Potthoff. He was one of 7 children in the Potthoff household. On August 2, 1965 Hugh wed the love of his life, Judy (Payne) Potthoff at a ceremony in Chicago, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his parents, children Francis and James Potthoff and siblings Bob and Bill Potthoff. Hugh is survived by his wife, Judy, sons Joseph (Shawn) Potthoff of Niles, Zane Rollf of Niles, daughter Donna Curry of Elkhart, IN, 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and siblings James (Ronitta) Potthoff of Monterey, IN, Thomas Potthoff, Chicago, IL, Jean Winstead of Rochester, IN and Kathleen "Kathy" Fisher of Rochester, IN. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel at 10 am. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services and Mission Hills Memorial Chapel, both of Niles.
