Obituary of Claude Alexander

Claude "Big C" "Red" Alexander, 62, of Buchanan, Michigan, passed away at his home on Monday, May 22, 2017. Claude was born on February 1, 1955 to the late Ivy and Missy Alexander in Grenada, Mississippi. Claude pursued auto mechanics while attending Job Corps in Seattle, Washington. Upon certification, he moved to Chicago and went on to become an expert mechanic. Ultimately, Claude settled in Buchanan, Michigan, where he enjoyed fishing, hunting and barbequing for charity and laughs. Later, he would become the proud owner of Red Bud Auto Clinic. He was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his children Keaka Stokes, Antwan Alexander, Keith Gary, Anika Watt, Catiecha Alexander, and Natavious Jennings; siblings, Louise Sharkey, Elizabeth Watt, Marcellus Alexander Jr., Charles Alexander, Fred Alexander, Willie Alexander, Augusta Alexander, Ralph Alexander; 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and many extended family members and close friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. with a time of visitation one hour prior.
