Grandma,
I am not even sure where to begin. You were a wonderful, friendly, loving, strong and very amazing individual!! Even though you had lost your VERY OWN daughter, you continued to hold me up in regards to losing MY MOM. You told me, the kids, and Robert that you would be My MOM now as I no longer had my own!! You said you would be an Old Mom, but since I did not have my own any longer, you would fill that roll!! You constantly told me that ANY time day or night, if I needed to talk all I had to do was call and you would be there for me. I already knew that, but you ALWAYS reassured me that this was true. You and I spent MANY, MANY hours on the phone talking about EVERYTHING and ANYTHING!! Even right from my being a little girl, we talked and talked to no end. Mom was always, constantly amazed while listening to us. That all the while we were conversing, We were always able to keep up with each other, as we continuously hopped from one subject to another and never lost track!!
There isn't enough space, paper or time for me to be able to tell you, exactly how much You, Mom, or Grandpa meant to me. I have so many memories of you it is unreal!! From your spaghettios that were ready for us, when we were at lunch break from school, along with the finger buttered bread, to the canning of the relish, the salmon patties and the little notes (hints) on the Christmas packages!! I love you SO VERY MUCH, My cup runneth over!! I will Cherish every single memory that I have of you and everything that you instilled in me. From the first song of "Here She Comes, Miss America." that you sang to me, to all the things that you said and trusted me with while you were in the hospital and the ambulance ride home!!"
I love you so very much Grandma and please always remember that Mom went first to make a place for you!! Sleep Well and Rest in Peace Grandma
