Grandpa, Thank you for all the wonderful memories and laughter. Wherever I go, whatever I do and whoever I meet along the way - I will carry a part of you with me. You have taught us all so much - even the greatest gift of all - to love and serve God with all of our hearts and to love one-another. Every day I will try to live up to the example that you gave us. And thank you for the music. I miss you and look forward to seeing you some day in heaven! (I won't have my bullet there- I don't think we'll need it in heaven) Love ya Grandpa!
"We knew the man - we knew him well... and we loved him.... He's the one who passed the music on - that burns within our souls - it won't let go." (We Knew Him- 2008)

HI Dad, its Corrinie, How do I put into words the love I have for you? DAD, WHEN I get up in the morning I see your face and want so bad to feel your arms around me again. Dad, I made the mistake by not spending as much time with you as I possibly could Iam not going to make the same mistake with Mom. I PRAISE GOD for allowing me to feel the most wonderful love my Father on earth could love me with. Daddy, I always wanted to call you that but I felt silly to say it around anyone, but I dont really care what anyone thinks any more. I love Daddy with all my heart. FROM YOUR CORRINIE

So much that he would leave behind generation after generation of beauitful people whose first goal is to sevre Christ. And I thank God, for a grandpa like you. You have set such a wonderful example on what the limit to love is. You have shown me there is none. I love you. I miss you. I can't wait to see you again.

Dad, the first man I ever loved! I thank the Lord always for the great Dad He gave me to. My Dad trusted the Lord enough to have me and my younger 4 brothers and sisters (as he did for all of us), I call that perserverance! He along with my Mother taught us to love the Lord and keep Him first in our lives. They showed us that life isn't always easy but that God would carry us through and that one day when it is our time to go, because Jesus (God's Son) died for us and bore our sins, God will carry us home too to be with Him forever. Thank you God for our Dad who now enjoys life with you. Love, Susie

My prayers and the prayers of my family go out to the entire Payne Family. While I did not know Harold Payne, I do supervise 2 of his grandchildren and have met a few of his children. The grandchildren have always spoke very highly of their grandfather, and his children were a pleasure to meet. As in Matthew 7:20, while I did not know Harold Payne, I can see his greatness in his children and grandchildren. I pray the family will be comforted in this trying time, and they will continue to be a living testiment to Harold Payne. God Bless.

Grandpa this is a hard thing for me to do. I'm not sure if it is because I dont want to say goodbye for now or because I cant find the right words to tell you how much I love you and are going to miss you. Your love for God, FAMILY and life and your dedication and devotion to grandma and children have truly been an inspiration to me. You have tought me many things such as the value of hard work, honesty and most of all family. I will miss hearing " Hows Dan El", your stories, talking sports and your humor. You have been an amazing man and the best grandpa a person could ever ask for. I will always love you and hold dear and near to me the memories. Grandma, Mom and all my aunts and uncles hold fast to the true comforter, Jesus Christ, and through His joy you WILL find strength. Its His promise.

Grandpa, I've read a lot about great people in history. Things that they've done, the people they influenced, but personally I haven't met anyone that's had a bigger impact on such a large number of people than you. So many people love you Gramps...I love you with all my heart. It's because of you, and how you raised my father I know what kind of man I should have as a husband. Someone that respects me, adores me, puts their family before themselves, but most importantly has Christ as the center of their lives. Someone like you :). Thank you for the laughs, advice, and support you've given. I'm going to miss hearing, "How's Allie?!" when I walk into your home, but I am looking forward to seeing you in heaven someday. Love you always.

Grandpa, I love you so much. We have had so many great times together that I will never forget: many go fish games(I was the champ), you pulling my teeth for me, peanut, calling me Whit, helping me with my chores(giving me cookies and milk when I came to your house so my parents thought I was really outside doing chores), all of my animals(from the hamsters, chickens, goats to Tank), and you just being there for me. I miss you like crazy and I can't wait to see you again. You mean so much to me. I remember when I was little kids would say how their grandparents got them this or that for their birthdays or Christmas, but I was just fine with what my grandparent's gave me: ALL of their love. You and grandma love every single one of your family members and that is so meaningful to all of us. I love you and you will always be in my heart!

My grandpa~There are so many things I want to say that expresses my heart for you. I can't seem to find the right words. There in my heart, mind and soul but they seem as though they aren't good enough. You are such a great guy. I see your personality and I see a guy who is strong. Someone who loves to joke around. Someone who cares and is selfless. Someone who loves the Lord so much that you decided, along with grandma to leave the choice of birth in Gods hands, but strong enough to handle what God gave you and knew how to handle it. A man so devoted to his faith. A man full of love for those around him and for Jesus. Thank you grandpa for all you are and all you have done. You will live forever in my heart and forever on this earth through each of us. I love you.
