Obituary of Douglas Howard

Douglas Alan Howard May 29, 1956 November 6, 2008 Douglas Alan Howard, 52, of Buchanan, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2008, at Lakeland Community Hospital, Niles, following a brief illness. Doug was born on May 29, 1956 in Niles to Bobby and Wilma (Stienbarger) Howard. He is survived by his mother Wilma Howard of Niles, brothers; Greg Howard of Mishawaka, Heath (Brandy) Howard of Michigan City, Indiana and Chad Howard of Niles, two sisters Dawn Duval of Niles and Tiffany Howard of Niles. He is preceded in death by his father Bobby Joe Howard. Doug was a member of Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle in Buchanan. He enjoyed cooking, reading his Bible, singing in the church choir and most of all being able to come to church and worship God. Doug was employed as a cook at B & W Olde Village Inn in Buchanan for several years.
