Leo Haresewicz, 82, of Coloma formerly of Dowagiac, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles, following an illness.
He was born on January 2, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to the late
On September 5, 1949 Leo married the love of his life Shirley Huffman at a ceremony in Roseland, Indiana.
He worked for many years as a machinist for various local tool and dye manufacturers including K & M. He is also a former member of Calvary Bible Church in Dowagiac. In his spare time, Leo enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Harasewicz of Coloma, two sons Ronald Harasewicz of Walkerton, Indiana and Rick Harasewicz of Australia, a daughter Nancy (Jack) Ruess of St. Joseph, Michigan, six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In keeping with Leo's wishes, cremation has taken place and no public services will be held at this time.
