Peggy Louise Brown-Clark

Peggy L. (Dunning) Brown-Clark, 76, of Dowagiac, passed away at the home of her daughter on Sunday, March 1st, 2009, surrounded by her family.
She was born on February 21, 1933 in Hornersville, Missouri to the late Ernest and Margaret (Petty) Dunning.
On January 6th, 1997 Peggy married Thomas Clark at a ceremony in St. Louis, Missouri.
Peggy retired in 1997 after more than thirty years as a food service manager. Her hobbies included playing cards, especially Gin Rummy and Solitaire. She was a member of the Clay Civic and Democratic Club of South Bend. Her bubbly spirit, generosity and very caring nature will be missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas Clark, two brothers David and Edward Dunning.
Peggy is survived by a daughter Thyresa Hums of Dowagiac, a son Dale Brown of Lakeland, Florida, two grandchildren Keri (Wayne) Tosh of Portage, Indiana and Jacob Brown of Lakeland, Florida, two great-grandchildren William and Zachary Tosh and a brother Bill (Jane) Dunning of Knox, Indiana.
Funeral services for Peggy will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Niles with visitation two hours prior.
