Edward "Eddie" Phillip Gaideski November 11, 1934 March 4, 2009 Edward "Eddie" Phillip Gaideski, 74, of Cable Parkway in Dowagiac passed away at Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 with his family by his side. Eddie was born on November 11, 1934 to Phillip and Wilma (Fisher) Gaideski in Dowagiac. He was one of 4 children in the Gaideski household. After high school Eddie wed the love of his life, Joan Moore, at a ceremony in Battle Creek, Michigan on July 16, 1955. Together they had 3 children. Eddie spent much of his time outdoors. He truly enjoyed his Monday Night Running Club, fishing in all seasons, running marathons and golfing. He is preceded in death by his father Phillip. Eddie is survived by his wife Joan of 53 years, children Jody (Larry) Fox of Dowagiac, Jeff (Valerie) Gaideski of Dowagiac and Allen Gaideski of Hopkins, Michigan, 4 grandchildren, brothers Joe (Elsie) Gaideski of Brooksville, Florida, Terry (Karen) Gaideski of Missouri and Bonnie Jacobs of Niles. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 from 1-2 at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel where a service to celebrate his life will be held at 2pm.
