My husband Bruce and I shared many dinners and a lot of laughter with Shirley and Don. We know that, as she said at the end of her letter to us, she is now in heaven with Donnie. My husband and I offer our sympathy for the loss of your Mom. She was such a vibrant lady. Her laugh was distinctive and contagious. You always knew when she was in a room! I played golf with her, played Euchre with her and we both sang in choir with her at Wesley UMC for years. We missed her so much when she moved to Florida. I had breakfast with her at the Hob Nob in downtown Niles just before she left. We talked about many things and she gave me some motherly advice. God bless and comfort all of you.

Brenda, Brent, Kevin...your Mother was a wonderful friend and confidant for me and a cherished and loving Grandmother to my daughter Haileigh. We will always remember her laugh, sense of humor, great cooking, loving honesty, strong faith, and her beautiful flower gardens. She is greatly missed!
