Jean Lucile (Jay) Hansel November 17, 1921 - May 1, 2009 Jean Lucile Hansel, 87, of Buchanan, passed away May 1, 2009 at Buchanan Meadows with her family by her side. She was born to the late Dr. Guy and Margueret (Miller) Jay on November 17, 1921 in Waterloo, Iowa. Preceding Jean in death are her parents, her husband Murlin and brothers, Howard and Guy Edwin Jay, and her sisters, Mary Tiller (her twin), Margaret Tiller, Eleanor Bayles, and Shirley France. Surviving her are her four sons; David (Diane) Hansel of Albion, Washington; Glenn (Reka) Hansel of Edwardsburg, Michigan; Dan (Teofila) Hansel of Indio, California and Gary Hansel of Kent, Washington; and also her two daughters; Linda (Dean) Lietz of Niles, Michigan and Donna Westerberg of Chandler, Arizona.
