Marian Frobel

Marian L. Frobel, 79, of Lilac Lane in Kalamazoo passed away at Tendercare of West Wood in Kalamazoo on May 5, 2009.
Marian was born on November 8, 1929 to the late Arthur and Henrietta (Prieb) Gilbert in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She was one of 3 children in the Gilbert household.
After school Marian wed the love of her life, Elmer Frobel, in 1948 at a ceremony in St. Joseph, Michigan. Together they had 3 children.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Elmer in 1966 and brother Robert Gilbert.
Marian is survived by her sons Gilber Frobel of Kalamazoo and Gail (Lynn) Frobel of Las Vegas, Nevada, daughter Tamera (Brandon) Tod-Lipka of Kalamazoo, 3 grandchildren and sister Violet (June) Haigh of Ennis, Montana.
In keeping with Marian's wishes a private memorial service will take place. She will be inurned at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma in the Garden of the Good Shepherd.
