Obituary of Elex Dubar

Elex "Wimpy" Junior Dubar February 13, 1935 October 13, 2009 Elex "Wimpy" Dubar, 74, of Benton Harbor, passed away on October 13, 2009 with his family by his side. Wimpy was born on February 13, 1935 to the late Eulice and Juanita (Ross) Dubar in Cardwell, MO. He was one of 12 children growing up in the Dubar household. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Juanita Mason in 2006 and son Ronald Dubar in 1964. Wimpy is survived by his wife of 28 years, Edna (Osborne) Dubar, sons Eulice "JD" Dubar of Benton Harbor, Danny Dubar of Benton Harbor, Elex Jr. (Patricia Pruett) Dubar of Bridgman, daughters Susan Salers of Port Orford, Oregon and Diane Dubar of Benton Harbor, 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and siblings Jerry Dubar of Benton Harbor, Robert Dubar of Los Angeles, California, Burnell Dubar of Houston, Texas, Sherman Dubar of Cuba, Missouri, Lagerta "Sis" Hartler of Bald Knob, Arkansas, Alice Jackson of Senath, Missouri, Virginia Langley of West Memphis, Arkansas, Linda Keating of Cornersville, Missouri, Laverne Chailand of Holland, Mississippi, Glenda Manning of Section, Alaska and Brenda Ball of Section, Alaska. In keeping with Wimpy's wishes he has been cremated and private services have taken place.
