Roy Walter Johanson, 81, of Baroda passed away Saturday, October 24, 2009 at his home after an extended illness.
Roy was born on October 14, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Carl and Emma (Norrborn) Johanson.
On July 02, 1950 he married Rose Rasmussen at a ceremony in Chicago, Illinois.
He served his country proudly in the United States Navy during WWII during two different enlistments. Upon returning from his second enlistment he worked in the Chicago area as a design engineer until his retirement at age 62.
Preceding Roy are his parents.
Surviving Roy is his wife Rose, his son Robert Johanson of Benton Harbor his daughter Christine Johanson of Bridgman, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
