Obituary of Luella B. Kelley

Luella Bernice Kelley, 89, of Niles, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Luella was born on November 29, 1924 to the late John and Pearl Dalton in St. Petersburg, Florida. On October 15, 1958 she wed the love of her life, James Kelley, together they had two sons. Luella was always a very determined woman. She managed a nursing home and enjoyed people, especially children and caring for the elderly. She even took care of James for over 10 years until he passed away in 2007. Luella was always active, spiritually and physically. She loved attending church and being with friends and family. She was active and still doing somersaults when she was 82 years old. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband James and siblings Walter Dalton, Irene Beedle, Johnny Dalton and Lelah Morton. Luella is survived by her children Gary (Tonga) Kelley of Niles, Michigan and Mark (Elizabeth) Kelley of Cottonwood, Alabama; grandchildren Anna and Syvana Kelley and sister Louise Shain of Oark, Arkansas. In keeping with Luella's wishes she has been cremated and her family will be holding a private memorial service in Ohio.
