Obituary of Luella Louise Joor

Luella Joor, 90, of Harbert, Michigan, passed away at Woodland Terrace in Bridgman on Sunday, March 14, 2010. Luella was born on March 5, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Gustav and Gertrude (Perski) Griesel. On October 11, 1951 Luella wed the love of her life, Letson G. Joor at a ceremony in Chicago, Illinois. Luella was a member of the Church of the Mediator in Harbert. She is preceded in death by her parents and Husband. Luella is survived by her cousin Rev. Bernard F. Grisel of San Francisco, California and friend Janada Steffey of Sawyer, Michigan. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the Church of the Mediator; between Harbert and Lakeside on Red Arrow Highway; 14280 Red Arrow Highway, Harbert, Michigan 49115 at 10 a.m. Mother Paula Durren will be officiating. Those wishing to make memorial donations in Luella's name may do so to her church.
