Kris was born fifty years ago today. I remember it well. Hard to believe she would have been that old, and harder still to know there are no more birthdays to celebrate with her. Still missing her always. Wishing her peace, love and the freedom to eternally "fly like a bird".

I haven't seen Kris since we were in grade school. We became best friends fast living next door to one another. There are so many great memories of our childhood that it would take a novel to list them all. I am saddened that we lost touch over the years and that my search for an old friend has me too late, but I am even more sad for Kris's families loss. My deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers go out to you.

Kris was one of my best friends when we where in 8th and 9th grade at Buchanan High School. I have many wonderful memories of she and I. Not to long ago, a memory of our friendship had visited me. Watching the video and seeing her beautiful smile and face made me feel as if it was yesterday we were hanging out together. My love goes to Kris's family and friends. I haven't seen Kris in years but have fun memories of her back when we went to Eastside! I was always the kid afraid to get in trouble and we went to her house for lunch and didn't tell anyone and we got in all sorts of trouble from the school!
