I'm not really sure what to say about my Grandpa. Everything has been said so much already. I can echo all the statements that have been made. My mom talking about his red truck out back really touched me. I sat in it the other day and I wouldn't start. The trailer that is still hooked on the back has a flat tire. I just knew I had to start it up and fix the tire. Every time I go into his garage I tear up. I remember hanging my bike from the engine hoist and changing my tires. I remember him helping me climb under my car and pulling my motor for my first car. He made sure I was doing it right and he was handing me all the right tools. Turn there and pull there. It worked out great until I seized that motor too… and again. He talked me through the next one as well. I mowed his lawn the day he came home from SW. Rehab. I knew that he would be worried about it if he saw it long. He's the one who taught me how to mow it. I sat on his lap and he would let me steer as we rode along. Now his mower is sitting in the garage when I open the door. I have all these memories flashing back in my head every time I go in there. A lot of people say, "do as I say, not as I do." He is not one of those. He guided all those he met along the same path he himself was walking. I hope that someday I can live long enough to be half the man he was. I hope he's looking down on us and know we are together closer than ever. In his death he brought us all into his house of the lord. Something he always tried to do. I'm sorry I didn't speak at the cemetery. I couldn't hold back my emotions enough to speak. But neither could anyone else. I love you Grandpa. I made you promises that I will continue to keep.
Your Loving Grandson,
Timmy

It has been many years since Bro. Chadwick was my sunday school teacher, but I will always remember the positive influence he had on my life. In class he handed out work books to do the homework for weekly lessons. I learned that reading the Bible can be fun along with learning. Bro. Chadwick was a true man of God. I will always be grateful for the positive example he was to us young people (at the time we were attending the Jesus Name Penetcostal Church on Morgan Rd, which was 30 plus years ago). We know he is with God and he is resting in peace. Thank you Brother Chadwick!
We are out of the state and will not be attending the service, but I am sending hugs, thoughts, love, and prayers out to the Chadwick family.

I had to let everyone know....he was the greatest man that ever lived....yes my dad, Floyd Chadwick. The song by the Judds, Daddy's hands....that song I swear was written about my dad. He always had a ready hug, one of the greatest, was willing to wipe a tear, encourge u in whatever u were doing. Even brushing my hair forever until I said that was good, rubbing my shoulders, even tho I should of been rubbing his(when I was younger) I already miss him so much already, and he had a love beyond belief...for God and family. We including my mom the love of his life..and he being the love of her life, my brother (Jerry) and myself, loved this man beyond belief. My children and grandchildren....he was also a father figure for all of them. My mom and dad just agreed to disagree....they were always loving to each other and to myself and my brother and all the kids that came along...It's already hard to go to the house, and know he isn't there, and his red truck parked out back where he left it.. I just miss my dad, but am some what comforted by knowing where he is, and I have that chance to see him again someday. lots of hugs and kisses to my dad....Until we meet again...
love forever and a day.....your loving daughter Brenda

I hardly remember a time when I didn't know this dear man. Bro Chadwick was so giving, he use to slip me a 5$ bill when my kids were little to get them ice-cream after church. If you ever wanted to find him during the day all you had to do was go to Sears & there you would find him with his life-long buddy, Bro Ray Rice. Bro Chadwick always had a smile on his face & never failed to give me a great big hug when he saw me. I am going to miss those hugs. He was a Christian man thru & thru. I loved him dearly & will miss him so much!
